AccessCheck is a web accessibility reporting service. When you use our site or subscribe to our service, we collect and process some personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use the free scan: We receive the URL you enter. We do not store it permanently or associate it with you.
When you subscribe: We collect your email address and your website URL. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
When we scan your website: Our automated scanner fetches the publicly accessible HTML pages of your website to check for accessibility issues. We do not store the page content — it is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the report is generated. We do not collect, read, or store any personal data that may be present on your website pages.
Cookies: We use one essential session cookie required by the checkout process. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. No third-party tracking scripts are loaded on this site.
Your email and website URL are used solely to generate and deliver your weekly accessibility report. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for any purpose other than delivering the service you paid for.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, you are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive confirmation of your subscription and a Stripe customer ID — nothing more.
We retain your email and website URL for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, your data is deleted within 30 days upon request. Email support@accesscheck.app to request deletion.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict processing, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@accesscheck.app. The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — we process your email and URL solely to deliver the service you subscribed to.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. As a California resident you have the right to know what data we hold and to request deletion. Contact us at the email above.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Access to subscriber data is restricted to the service infrastructure only.
